» Children & Families (Torbay) This case study describes how GCSX is supporting Torbay Council’s Safeguarding Children Unit by ensuring information can be shared securely and quickly with key partners for the protection of children.

» Civil Contingencies This document describes how GCSX could underpin service improvements for organisations involved in the provision of civil contingency by enabling a secure, quick and effective channel for sending and receiving information in real-time.

» Crime & Disorder Nationally, Police forces are currently developing new information sharing agreements in line with the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) and the National Police Improvement Agency (NPIA) Manual of Guidance of Police Information (MoPI). This guidance was created following the Soham murders and the subsequent Bichard Enquiry.

»Housing Benefits This case study describes how Government Connect supports the aims of the DWP eTransfer project to securely, safely and efficiently transfer Housing Benefit (HB) and Council Tax Benefit (CTB) claim data between DWP and local authorities.

» Libra This case study describes how the Government Connect Secure eXtranet (GCSX) is supporting local authorities to deliver high quality Youth Justice Services by enabling staff in Youth Offending Teams (YOTs) to access HM court records held on the Libra case management system, from their own desktops.
