CoCo (Code of Connnection)

The GCSx Code of Connection (CoCo) is a list of security controls with which ALL LAs must be compliant before their GCSx circuit can be activated. This applies to LAs who are taking a direct connection, or who are connecting via an aggregated gateway.

A copy of the CoCo must be requested by a LA from gctech.team@dwp.gsi.gov.uk to a nasecurity lockmed individual within the LA, who is responsible for the CoCo.  The CoCo, once completed, becomes classified as RESTRICTED, and must be handled appropriately.

Government Connect is providing advice and consultancy to support local authorities in becoming compliant with the Code of Connection, and has assigned each local authority a Regional Account Manager.  Local authorities are encouraged to book an appointment with their Regional Account Manager as early as possible and submit their CoCo the Central CoCo Assessment Team for and assessment.
